Brown Bear Foundation
The Fundación Oso PardoFundación Oso Pardo (FOP) —lit. Brown bear Foundation— is a voluntary association which was established in 1992. It aims to contribute to the conservation and study of the brown bear, its habitat and cultural importance. The FOP is active mainly in the Cantabrian mountain range but is extending to other areas where the brown bear is threatened.
