As true nature-lovers, we often go trekking, visiting many of the numerous mountain routes in the Sierra. We can offer the best advice and guidance to guests for recommended hikes, depending on the climate, level and experience of the group, and time and age restrictions. The tourist/trekker can thus safely enjoy a number of tracks that are totally suited to his possibilities.
If nature photography is your passion, this is a compulsory visit. With a little luck and silence you may find beautiful specimens of roe deer, antelope, mountain goat, partridge, or eagle, and ample material simply from walking among the wonderful oak, holly, chestnut and yew trees that populate our forests. Not to mention the beauty of watching the nightfall and some amazing sun sets.

As a real extra, and thanks to the privileged location of the hotel, if your passion is hunting or fishing, you will be delighted to know that we are at the centre of the National Hunting Reserve, with beautiful specimens of roe deer, boar, red partridge, and magnificent antelope (in 2004 a golden medal species was hunted in this mountain range). Although the hunting of other species is not permitted, with a little luck you may well cross paths with a mountain goat (hunted on the Leonese side of the range), the partridge, bear and capercaillie.
If your passion is fishing, our small streams run down to the River Navia offering the most delicious and abundant species of trout….
